An Introduction...

My Name is Savannah, and it means plane. Literally, it means a treeless plane. But I like to think of it like a blank canvas. I try to be a realist with the optimistic tendencies of a dreamer. I enjoy art and creativity, literature, and adventure; but not in that order.

I’m not very good at first impressions.

I go by a lot of nick names.

Savi, Nana, Banana, Sava, Savanni and a lot of people call me by my instagram name-saviwho, but most people call me Sav.

The blog name "Saturdays' Are For" comes from working a 9-5. Actually, a 9-5:30…for an added half hour of captivity. But on Saturdays, the world is my oyster. I started posting photos on Instagram (@saviwho) after seeing a photo that said “Saturdays are for shopping” and hash tagged the photo with other things Saturdays are for, ie...Saturdays are for sunnies, Saturdays are for sea-life, etc.

On this blog, I intend to share, my heart, my soul, my art, and through my own words; my walk with my creator. I hope to encourage, uplift, and bring a little color…and some days a little black and white to the inter webs.
